Featured Athlete: Vincent Rozzi

For the Class of 2026, Indiana’s elite receiver candidate is Vincent Rozzi of Fishers High School.

After battling his way from scout-team reps to full-time starter, Rozzi’s senior season has been nothing short of breakout.

Rozzi is the kind of receiver who blends elite speed with polished route-running and a high football IQ.

Over his senior campaign, he’s demanded attention and begun reshaping games — and at the next level, his upside is considerable.

25′ SEASON STATS

× 1,301 receiving yards — 1st in Indiana 6A

× 73 receptions — 1st in Indiana 6A

× 16 touchdowns — 2nd in Indiana 6A

PATH TO BREAKOUT

Last season, Rozzi spent nearly the entire year on the scout team — working against the varsity defense day in and day out.

In Week 8, his chance finally came when Stanford commit, WR1 JonAnthony Hall recommended him for the starting rotation. Rozzi instantly made a impact on the field and earned his spot.

He closed with four starts and three touchdowns, setting the table for this year.

OFF-SEASON WORK

Rozzi’s off-season blueprint was clear: elevate speed, redirect explosiveness, and sharpen technique.

× Dedicated himself to track training — focusing on the 100m and 4×100 relays to build straight-line explosion.

× Attended elite camps (including visits to Michigan State and Bowling Green) where he sharpened his 7v7 and position-specific drills.

× Emphasized agility, quick-feet, and change-of-direction work to complement his deep-ball ability.

STYLE & IMPACT

Rozzi describes his game as follows:

“An elusive route-runner who can burn the top of the defense or work the short game.”

He can stretch vertically with his 4.47 speed, but he also plays crisp in-space — making defenders uncomfortable in short-area routes, underneath breaks, and yards-after-catch situations.

Add to that his leadership and high-effort demeanor, and you’ve got a complete receiver profile.

HIGHLIGHT MOMENTS

Breakout game: vs. Franklin Central

16 receptions, 258 yards, 3 TDs.

Favorite moment: His first touchdown against rival Hamilton Southeastern

COMPETING IN 6A

Indiana’s 6A conference is one of the toughest in the Midwest — and Rozzi knows it. He approaches each week with the same mindset:

“Coach always says we’re in the toughest conference. If you take a week off, it’ll bite you.”

That mentality shows up on the field — week in and week out.

RECRUITING STATUS

Currently, Rozzi holds interest from programs such as Davenport, University of Indianapolis, Miami (OH), and multiple NAIA schools.

His vision for the next level is straightforward: a school where he can grow academically, socially, and athletically.
